Refunds & cancellation
Last updated 22 September 2026
What ThinkFusion will and will not refund, and how to ask. These are the rules the system actually applies — there is no separate discretion hidden behind them.
1. Try it before you pay
The first four levels are free and need no payment details. They use the same simulator, the same compiler and the same grading as the paid levels. We would rather you found out the product is not for you before paying than afterwards, so please use them.
2. Individual purchases
A single-learner purchase of the full course can be refunded in full if both of these are true when you ask:
- it is within 7 days of your purchase, and
- you have completed less than 10% of the course.
The progress limit exists because the course is the content: someone who has worked through most of it has had what they paid for. Both conditions are checked automatically when you cancel, and the reason is shown to you if a refund cannot be given.
You can cancel your enrolment at any time, whether or not a refund applies. Cancelling after the window ends stops any future charge but does not return the payment.
3. School and college seats
Seat purchases are not refundable. A seat is a one-year licence bought for a named institution, and it is usually issued to students within days of purchase.
This is why we ask schools to run a pilot first. Tell us how many students you want to trial with and we will arrange it — a school should never have to buy a term to find out whether the product works in its computer lab.
If seats were charged in error — a duplicate payment, the wrong quantity, or a purchase the school did not authorise — write to us and we will correct it. A billing mistake is not a refund request and is not subject to this clause.
4. How to ask
Email info@abilityfusion.com from the address on the account, telling us what you bought and when. Individual learners can also cancel from your account page, which applies the rules above immediately.
We reply to every refund request within 3 working days.
5. How long a refund takes
Approved refunds are sent back through Razorpay to the original payment method. We start the refund within 3 working days of approving it. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time, typically 5–7 working days, occasionally longer. We cannot speed that part up, but we can show you the refund reference if you need it for your bank.
Refunds go back to the account that paid. We cannot redirect one to a different card, a different bank account, or a different person.
6. Failed and duplicate payments
If money left your account but access did not appear, do not pay again — write to us first. Payment confirmations sometimes arrive minutes late, and a second payment is harder to unwind than a delayed one. If a payment genuinely failed, Razorpay releases it automatically, usually within 5–7 working days.
Duplicate payments are refunded in full, and the progress limit above does not apply.
7. If we cannot deliver
If we withdraw the course, or a fault on our side stops you using what you bought for a sustained period and we cannot fix it, we will refund the unused part of your purchase regardless of the time and progress limits above. This applies to school seats too.
8. Who you are contracting with
Purchases are made from Ability Fusion Private Limited. Full contact details, including our grievance officer, are on the contact page.
